15-16 March 2010: First network seminar in Helsinki: MAPPING THEMES IN NORDIC STUDIES The seminar primarily focused on PhD-students. The participant PhD-students presented their projects to each other and the participant researchers, and started to form groups of interest within the frame of the network. Invited Nordic researchers/network members introduced research in contemporary art and visual culture in the different Nordic and Baltic countries. The first network seminar took place at the Department of Art Education, Aalto University School of Art and Design, Finland.
