Cecilia von Brandenburg

topic: Art, work and well-being has more than 20 years experience in art education and in art therapy. She has specialized in possibilities of using art in promoting health at work. Her feasibility study (2003) explored new possibilities what artistic activities can offer to improve safety and health at work and to promote employee work ability. Her report on relations between culture and well-being was published by the Ministry of Education in 2008. Von Brandenburg`s dissertation research in the University of Art and Design/Aalto University, Helsinki with the topic “Art, Work and Well-being” is located on the borderlines between philosophy of art education, research in worklife, cultural and communal policy and research on health promotion at work. The aim of this study is to increase understanding on concepts of man and of artistic thinking in relation to human being and to changing world of work and the society.
